Learn How to Stop Sweating - Turn Off Your Sweating Like a Tap

Everyone sweats; it is just a fact of life. But some of us sweat more than others do. It can be embarrassing and yes, it can even give you a self-conscious effect but you don't have to be self conscious about it. Millions of people sweat all over the world. Different things make different people sweat. You have to figure out what makes you sweat and you can figure out how to stop it. For example, if you work out at a gym and after an hour you come home sweating you know why you are sweating.

But lets' say, you are watching TV and you all of a sudden start sweating. There has to be a reason why. It could be the room temperature or it could be an underlying medical condition. Medical conditions that relate to sweating may be the last thing on your mind as you sweat but if it is a common occurrence you may want to consult your doctor.

There are some basic guides to follow you want to curb your excessive sweating. Take a shower once a day, if you tend to sweat more than you think the average person does then shower twice a day. Keep a lot of deodorant on hand. Deodorant is not just great for underarm sweating but it is actually effective on the hands, feet and the back.

Keep a trial size cornstarch powder on hand. Cornstarch absorbs odor that is why baby products contain cornstarch. Sprinkle a little on your hands if you feel your hands start to get sweaty. Keep a spare pair of socks handy if you feel your feel start to get sweaty. Add some cornstarch to your socks and your soles of the shoes and you will have dry feet all day.

Try wearing shoes that are ventilated and made by either leather or canvas. These are the best shoes to have if your feet sweat excessively. Try to have more than one pair of shoes handy, by changing your shoes every other day; you are actually airing out the pair that you just wore. Then when you wear that pair again, your feet won't sweat so much.

Keep a pair of Dr Scholl's Odor Eaters on hand. Change them every month especially if you wear those shoes the most. By keeping up with where you sweat the most, it can be easily taken care of. Most people leave the house in the morning with the essentials they need for the day. So if you were an excessive sweater then a spare deodorant, trial size cornstarch, Odor Eaters and an extra pair of socks would be considered to be your essentials.

If you tend to sweat facially and on the neck, try keeping your hair off of your face and off of your neck. Stay away from high collared shirts and turtlenecks. They can contribute to the sweating of the neck and the face. There are hundreds of remedies out there; you just have to find the one that works best for you.
